Field study on occupant thermal comfort in residential buildings in Jiaozuo city in winter

To reveal the indoor thermal environment in the medium and small cities in cold area in winter, conducts a field study in 44 residential buildings in Jiaozuo, Henan province. Obtains the subjective questionnaires of thermal sensation from 99 subjects, tests indoor and outdoor environment parameters including temperature, relative humidity and air velocity, and analyses the data with the statistical method. The results show that the measured thermal neutral temperature in residential buildings in winter is 19.2 ℃, the predicted thermal neutral temperature 24.3 ℃, and the difference between them 5.1 ℃; The preferred temperature is 21.0 ℃; The thermal adaptability model is expressed as tcomf=0.317tout+18.19, and the accepted temperature scope for 80% of the occupants is 11.6 to 24.2 ℃.
